Stripes, stripes, stripes

It?s already Wednesday, which in my case means there?s only a few days till Easter break. It?s going to be great to have a little break from uni. Today I kept it comfortable and chic, which is always a winning combination. I paired my oversized Tommy Hilfiger sweater with my tailored mustard yellow chinos. I finished of the look with a pair of tan loafers and blue and white stripes socks (yes I think about my socks) Stripes is one of the major spring and summer trends this year, which I absolutely love because I usually wear them all year around. However, let me share a little tip with you about stripes, because they can affect how your body look depending on if they are vertical or horizontal. Vertical stripes such as the ones I?m wearing today gives a long/high illusion, while horizontal stripes tends to make you look wider. The good thing about stripes is that pretty much everyone can pull them off and the nautical look gives an instant chicness without you having try too hard.

What do you think about this comfy look?
